The Jersey Shore - Vermont's 23 Things

The Jersey Shore - Vermont's 23 Things

I have already been using wikis for author information and actors and movie information for the matinees at the library.  One drawback I always ask myself is if the information is 100% correct.

Would this work well if I was trying to organize the staff in developing a disaster plan????

Away from the icebergs was a great article and I feel that my library is doing a pretty good job with keeping up in these changing times.  I love the "come to us" model for library services and feel that SML does a good job of eleminating barriers that exist between the patrons and the info they are seeking

I did not set up a librarything account because I already use goodreads off of FACEBOOK to keep track of the books I read, so I thought doing it twice would be silly and hard to keep track of.

I enjoy Good Reads because I can keep track of all of the books that I have read and also see what my colleagues are reading.  I can also rate the books on how much I enjoyed them to go back to see what authors I have enjoyed and keep up with books in a series.

Our library has a link from our website to library thing, and patrons are encouraged to track the books that they have read through that service they provide.
